Are you anxiously awaiting the first winter storm of the year? Are you pumped to get your kids bundled up and outside for some good old fashioned sledding fun? Me too; which means I should really start looking now for all of the gloves, boots and hats that will inevitably be lost to this world as soon as the first snow flake flies…

I will be in Colorado Springs this weekend and the temps are very warm according to Weather.com. We really want to go sledding! Is there any snow to do that without having to drive too far?
Unfortunately, there hasn’t been much snow since Christmas and it was in the 70’s this weekend, which is bazaar for February! But the rain today wiped out any chance you would have found for sledding within 30 miles of the Springs, unless someone knows of a spot in Woodland Park that is high enough. Sorry. 🙁
