Happy fall y’all! The weather is changing and I am getting excited about the upcoming holidays. There is nothing better than curling up with your little one on a blustery day with your favorite holiday movie. So I have compiled a list of our Halloween favorites. These are perfect for those days where it is just too cold to go outside or you just feel like having a movie day, or maybe even a family movie night! So grab a bowl of popcorn or your favorite snack and enjoy a few of our favorites.

1. It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. This is a delightful classic that you can’t help but share with your children. Linus waits patiently for the “Great Pumpkin” to arrive as his friends carry out their usual antics. I would definitely carve out time for this classic. We give it five pumpkins out of five.

2. Room on the Broom is another enchanting children’s movie. This movie shares the unexpected journey of a witch and her cat. Will they find room on their broom for all of the animals they encounter? How does being kind pay off in the end? Watch this amusing tale to find the answers. We give this movie five pumpkins out of five. Find more info on this movie here.

3. Monsters Inc. is next on our list. Find out what happens when a child is not afraid of the monsters at a scream processing factory. Will it spell disaster for all involved or will they be able to come to a not so monstrous conclusion? We loved this movie and give it four pumpkins out of five.

4. Pooh’s Heffalump Halloween Movie is a precious movie that is appropriate for kids of all ages. Pooh and his friends find themselves frightened of a not so real monster, Gobloon. As they set out to find it they teach everyone a valuable lesson about facing ones fears. This movie is sure to keep your littles engaged and on the edge of their seats. We give this movie four pumpkins out of five.

5. For the last one I’m going old school, The Flintstones Meet Rockula & Frankenstone. My brother is the biggest Flintstones fan there is and my daughter has recently become a fan as well, so I thought this would be a fun one to watch. This starts out with the Flintstones on a Let’s Make a Deal type game show where the Flintstones win a deluxe vacation. The vacation leads them on all kinds of wacky adventures. If you are a Flintstones fan, this movie will not disappoint. We give this movie four out of five pumpkins.
