Cloth diapering has made a wildly successful comeback in recent years. The craze is well-founded; new products boast improved design, less hassle, eco-friendly materials, and darling prints for cotton-clad booties. I mean, come on. Argyle print bums?! Yes. Please.

If you’re thinking of taking the plunge into cloth diapering or are new to town, you’ll be glad to know the cloth diapering community thrives here. Colorado Springs is home to two outstanding resources for natural-minded mamas. (By the way, even if you don’t care a bit about cloth diapering, these are great resources for baby wearing, breastfeeding, healthy toys and products.)

Baby Cotton Bottoms

Baby Cotton Bottoms recently opened a swanky new location in downtown Colorado Springs. Staff are super-helpful and knowledgeable about all things natural parenting. As far as cloth diapers go, they carry Bum Genius, Blueberry, Thirsties, Best Bottom, Smart Bottom and much more. When we began cloth diapering five years ago, this shop set us up with everything we needed. They’ve been super helpful over the years! Baby Cotton Bottoms also offers cloth diapering classes and car seat classes. Located at 330 S. Nevada, Colorado Springs, CO 80903

Eco-Baby Cloth Diaper Service

Eco-Baby is a full cloth diaper service for the entire front range. If you aren’t into doing your own diaper laundry, this option is for you. They also have a store downtown which offers hot brands such as Bum Genius, Sweet Pea, Imagine and many more. (Due to limited hours, it is recommended that you call first or visit the Cloth Diaper Market Facebook Page to make sure the store is open.) Eco-Baby also offers classes in a S. Denver location. Colorado Springs store: 3360 N. El Paso St. Unit I, Colorado Springs, CO 80903

If you have any questions about cloth diapering, these two companies will be able to help and put your mind at ease. Of course, often the best resources are friends and family members who applaud and practice cloth diapering.
