Colorado Springs Moms Blog Summer Camp Guide

It's Road Trip Season: Don't Make Me Pull Over This Car!

10 Ways to Make This the Summer of YOU

Sisterhood of the Sleepless Nights: The Importance of Mom Friends

This Guide is presented by Chris Clonts and The Front Range Home Team.

What in the heck are the Clonts’ up to in June??

Since EVERYONE has been wondering what our family is doing in June, we decided to share some of our plans with you!

We love Liese Chavez’s art, and the Chavez Gallery on Colorado is opening a new collection on First Friday, June 1st. We won’t miss it. You shouldn’t either. Her art is fantastic. Think Alice in Wonderland meets Anthropologie.

As if we needed a reason to get outdoors, June 2 is “Get Outdoors Day” and we say, “OK!” We have really been enjoying Sonderman Park, a lesser known, smaller open space on the westside. It’s a great hiking spot if you have young kids.

We’re also going to check out Westfest on June 17 in Bancroft Park. There will be live music, arts and crafts and food trucks. It’s a fun time in Old Colorado City.

There are also a few things that haven’t made it on to our calendar yet but definitely will be happening. The two downtown splash fountains – America the Beautiful Park and Uncle Wilbur’s Fountain in Acacia Park – will be life savers on the hottest June days. We’re also planning a couple of days up in the mountains as one last getaway before our baby boy comes in late July.

June is also a busy month for real estate sales, and we will undoubtedly help some great families make their real estate dreams a reality.

Any suggestions as to where we should go on a baby moon getaway within 3 hours of the Springs?
